Job Summary
Perform patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Execute duties consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines while completing other related tasks as assigned. Do not administer medications or therapy and do not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Requires current BLS certification and a high school diploma or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides
- Current BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred
