Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and medication reminders. Perform personal care tasks such as lifting, turning, transferring, and transporting residents between beds, chairs, bathtubs, and wheelchairs. Support dining room services by setting up, cleaning, delivering meal trays, and documenting meal intake while monitoring physical and cognitive wellbeing. Deliver nutritional supplements and participate in life enrichment programming to promote resident dignity and independence. Document resident care timely and accurately, reporting changes to the nurse and supervisor. Comply with all community policies and procedures. Hourly rate ranges from $20.50 to $24.50 with shift differentials for weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Certified Nursing Certification
- Ability to demonstrate patience and compassion in working with the elderly
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of paid or volunteer experience working with seniors
