Job Summary
Assist residents with daily activities, personal hygiene, and transportation while monitoring vital signs and recording data in their charts. Provide adjunct care, support nurses with facility tasks, and ensure adherence to professional standards, policies, and federal, state, and local requirements. Interact directly with residents to offer comfort and maintain a compassionate bedside manner. This role supports Short-Stay Rehabilitation, Skilled Nursing, and Long Term Care services under First Atlantic Healthcare. Day shift per diem scheduling requires a minimum of 2-3 days monthly; new grads and all experience levels are welcome to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a state-approved CNA certification training course
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
- Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy
