Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Perform instrumental tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and using telephones. Accurately measure vital signs like blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight. Respond promptly to resident call lights and observe, record, and report any changes in status or abnormal symptoms. Document care provisions and resident status changes as assigned. This role offers evening, night, and weekend shift differentials along with vacation and holiday pay. Full-time hires receive an up to $1,500 sign-on bonus paid in three installments upon reaching 60, 120, and 180 days of employment, provided the applicant holds active Maine CNA certification at hire. Candidates must provide proof of immunity to MMR, Varicella, and Influenza, and demonstrate strong English command to follow oral and written instructions with precision. Required Qualifications
- Must possess active and in good standing CNA certification from the State of Maine CNA Registry or can show proof of prior CNA certification.
