Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides patient/resident care under the direct supervision of the licensed nurse at Edgerton Care Center. Performs initial and ongoing data collection on patients/residents, implements plan of care developed by the RN/LPN based on patient/resident needs, and reports condition changes. Demonstrates time management and prioritization of tasks; documents results of care within policies; supports nutritional care; communicates effectively with residents and families; and performs other duties as assigned. Requires good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry, ability to meet physical requirements, and strong English literacy with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred: CPR certification and prior hospital/long-term care experience.
