Job Summary
Provide care to residents as directed by licensed nurses, assisting with activities of daily living including walking, transfers, bathing, and dressing. Communicate resident status to nurses via shift reports and promote individual independence through range of motion and bed mobility exercises. Demonstrate knowledge of subacute, dementia, and multiple disability populations while maintaining compliance with Department of Health vaccination guidance. Requires current Massachusetts CNA certification, basic math skills, and one year of experience preferred. Part-time schedule with weekly pay and tuition reimbursement available.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalency
- A current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Massachusetts
- Must be able to read, write and understand English
- Has basic math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- All Casa staff members must be in compliance with the Department of Health's COVID-19 Up to Date Vaccination Guidance
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year experience preferred
- Other languages are helpful
