Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) provide compassionate care, ensuring client dignity and adherence to individualized care plans. Responsibilities include attending to personal care needs, performing basic nursing skills, maintaining a clean environment, assisting with meal prep, providing medication reminders, and contributing to care planning by observing client conditions. Requires active CNA license, CPR certification, and background checks, in addition to communication and flexibility skills.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant License in the State of Rhode Island
- Current CPR Certification
- Acceptable Criminal Background Investigation Check & Motor Vehicle Record Report
- Valid driver's license or state identification and access to a registered and insured vehicle
- Ability to communicate at an intermediate level in English
- Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
Additional Requirements
- Must be available to work at least every other weekend
