Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant at a mental health and substance abuse recovery center in Asheville, NC. Responsibilities include assisting patients with activities of daily living, serving meals, feeding as necessary, ambulating, turning and positioning patients, providing water and nourishment between meals, administering basic adjunct care (enemas, dressings, sitz and therapeutic baths), monitoring vital signs and weight, recording input/output, transporting patients, answering call lights, reporting observations to the nursing supervisor, completing forms and records, and maintaining patient confidentiality. Requires NC CNA certification, 2 years of experience, and BLS/CPR certification. Required Qualifications
- State of North Carolina CNA certification
- American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification
- 2 years of nursing assistant or caregiving experience
- CNA training course certification from an accredited program
- Current CPR certification (BLS)
