Job Summary
Provide personal care and support to hospice patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, including assistance with activities of daily living, meals, mobility, and comfort; monitor and report patient condition and vitals; maintain a clean, safe living environment; document care per plan of care; assist with medication reminders as allowed by state regulations; support patient and family with communication and compassionate care; participate in quality assessment/performance improvement activities; California requirements include CNA license in good standing and current HHA certification; CPR required; valid driver's license and auto insurance; flexible hours to ensure care per plan.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (applicable for all States, additional requirements for California residents)
- California Regulation: Must be a CNA in good standing AND must have a current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in good standing in the State of California
- Current CPR certification
- Licensed driver with automobile that is insured...
- Willingness to submit to a criminal background check prior to hire and annually thereafter
- One year preferred experience in community health/hospice or medical/surgical environments
- 75 hours classroom and supervised practical training
