Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Provide direct resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Perform personal care (grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care, etc.), assist with ambulation and transfers, record vital signs and other data, monitor residents, observe for changes in condition, contribute to the plan of care, assist with meals and hydration, ensure patient safety and infection control, and support nursing staff with aseptic techniques. Maintain confidentiality and uphold Resident’s Rights; participate in in-service education and adhere to attendance standards. Must be a certified CNA with CPR certification and a high school diploma or GED. May work full-time or part-time in a nursing facility setting.
