Job Summary
Perform patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Accomplish job duties consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines, while performing other related tasks as assigned. Do not administer medications or therapy, nor assume independent responsibility for patient care. This full-time role requires working 36 weekend hours in 12-hour shifts, paid for a standard 40-hour work week. Required Qualifications
- Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides
- Current BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred
