Job Summary
Deliver direct care to residents in a skilled nursing home, assisting with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, and mobility. Aid residents with tasks including telephone use, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery while performing light housekeeping and meal preparation. Provide medication reminders, observe and report changes in condition, conduct rounds to monitor hazards, and escort residents to dining. Offer companionship and conversation to maintain dignity and independence. Newly certified CNAs are welcome; same-day pay available with shift options for full-time and part-time day or night roles.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age
- Completion of a state-approved CNA certified nursing assistant certification course
- Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to essential job duties
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Caregivers must complete our new hire orientation
