Job Summary
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and medication reminders in accordance with care plans. Provide personal care, monitor physical and cognitive wellbeing, and report changes to the nurse and supervisor. Deliver nutritional supplements, document meal intake, and participate in life enrichment programming. Perform lifting, turning, transferring, and transporting residents while maintaining dignity and privacy. Document resident care timely and accurately, complying with all community policies and procedures. This role supports the #LivingJoyfully initiative at the community.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Certified Nursing Certification
- Ability to demonstrate patience and compassion in working with the elderly
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of paid or volunteer experience working with seniors
