Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in hospice care. Responsibilities include assisting with ADL activities (hygiene, grooming, mouth/skin care, nails), toileting, positioning and transfers for bed-bound residents, assisting with prescribed exercises/ROM as taught by Hospice Nurse, light housekeeping, meal support, taking temperatures, pulse, and respirations, reporting changes to the Hospice Nurse, aiding in medication reminders per regulatory/accrediting requirements, and documentation on required forms. The role is with Ascend Hospice & Palliative Care MA, an Equal Opportunity Employer, located in Weymouth, MA, with travel required. Required Qualifications
- State Certified CNA license
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- experience in hospice or home health preferred
- willingness to travel
- valid driver's license and reliable transportation
