Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care under RN supervision, including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, ambulation, and activity orders; documents vital signs and patient data in EMR; assists with admissions, transfers, and discharges; performs specimen collection, routine nursing tasks, and patient positioning/transfer with proper technique; maintains patient room, supplies, and infection prevention practices; may assist with nutritional needs and skin care, and supports overall patient care activities as directed by the RN. Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 45 days and be a Nurse Aide in good standing with the State Registry; education required includes GED/HSED or high school diploma; no prior experience required beyond basic skills and organizational abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) within 45 days
- Nurse Aide in good standing as indicated with the State Registry
- Education: GED or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED), or High School Graduate
