Job Summary
Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort while promoting their independence. Advise the charge nurse of resident status at shift start and end, and contribute to care plans by observing and documenting conditions. Assist in implementing care plans, ensure equipment is clean and functional, and perform safe lifting or incidental housekeeping as required. Work an 8-hour shift from 6am to 11am Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- State certification as a nursing assistant
- Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant
- Highly developed observation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting
