Job Summary
Provide support to staff and patients on the 31-bed mixed acuity unit specializing in orthopedic and neurological care. Work independently to deliver resource information and general nursing care, while completing clerical tasks related to regulatory annual requirements, audits, and patient processes. Perform duties for patients with joint replacements, traumatic fractures, stroke, and movement disorders under the guidance of NIHSS stroke-certified nursing staff.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) - active or expired on registry
- Must have a strong interest in customer service
- Able to multi task
- Able to work independently with little supervision
- Passionate about providing excellent patient care
- Able to demonstrate compassion at the end of life
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to work holiday rotation
- Must be able to work 12 hour nights
- Must be able to work 0.9 FTE
- Must be able to work 1900-0730 hours
