Job Summary
Care for multiple residents by assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, transferring, and toileting. Monitor and record vital signs, bowel movements, and intake/output while observing resident rights and reporting physical changes to nurses. Perform personal care, hygiene, and ambulation assistance, and maintain facility cleanliness by making beds and changing linens. Answer call bells, conduct rounds, and evacuate residents during emergencies. Provide post-mortem care and assist with admissions, treatments, and discharging under nurse supervision. Work scheduled shifts demonstrating dependability and punctuality.
Required Qualifications
- Successfully complete a state-approved nurses aide-training program
- Must understand English both written and spoken
- Must have current certification and registration with the state Department of Health
- Must be able to safely and successfully perform job-related functions, with or without reasonable accommodation required by federal, state, or local law
