Job Summary
Provide in-home CNA/CHHA care to hospice patients in the Philadelphia region. Duties include: ADL assistance (personal hygiene, grooming, mouth/skin care, nails), toileting and transfer assistance, ROM activities as taught by Hospice Nurse, light housekeeping of the patient’s unit, meal assistance, and reporting condition changes to the Nurse. Requires 18+ years old, state-required training with at least 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training (including 16 hours of supervised practical and 16 hours of classroom instruction), and one year of CNA/hospice/home health experience (Hospice preferred). Must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance. Full-time hours with benefits; pay starts at $19.75/hour. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Meets training requirements of the State
- Minimum of 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training with at least 16 hours of supervised practical training and 16 hours of classroom instruction
- Must have one year experience as a CNA, hospice aide or home health aide (Hospice preferred)
- Must be a licensed driver with insured automobile in good working order and current auto insurance
- Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing
