Job Summary
Answer signal lights, bells, or intercom systems to assess resident needs. Assist with grooming, hygiene, dressing, nutrition, mobility, and turning residents. Monitor vital signs, record intake and output, and transport residents. Change bed linens, run errands, assist with laundry, and direct visitors. Encourage participation in activities and report observations to the care team. Follow infection prevention protocols and PPE requirements. Work extended shifts including 4:00pm-8:00pm. Complete accredited CNA program and maintain CPR/BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited CNA program
- Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds independently, and up to 200 pounds with assistance
- Required to communicate effectively and identify/interpret written information
- Required to follow all infection prevention and control protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- All offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screening
- Participation in required health assessments (such as TB testing or physical evaluations)
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year of experience as a certified nursing assistant preferred
- CPR or BLS certification preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in common digital tools and applications, including Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word), web-based platforms, electronic health record systems, and any HR-related systems as applicable
