Job Summary
Provide assistance and treatment to patients in the hospital and CBRF, focusing on safety, hygiene, comfort, and ADLs like bathing and mealtime. Deliver education and supervision to foster independent functioning, pro-social behavior, and vocational skills. Observe and record data on functional abilities and target behaviors to support the interdisciplinary treatment plan. Communicate with staff and patients while adhering to clinical policies and protocols. Work 12-hour NOC shifts starting at 6pm with an every-other-weekend rotation. Requires current CNA certification, BLS/CPR, and proficiency in the Welsky EMR system.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of the sequela of brain injury and other neurological disorders
- Knowledge of physical, cognitive, psychological, emotional, and/or communication disabilities
- Ability to obtain and maintain BLS CPR course required
- Proficient in the EMR Welsky system within 90 days of hire
- Successful completion of certified nursing assistant course as evidenced by certification
- High school graduate
- Maintain a current certification by the State of WI as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- Valid driver's license
