Job Summary
Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, moving patients, and changing linens. Maintain active nursing aide certification in the state of operation and demonstrate knowledge of age-related resident needs. Work as a supportive team member with patience, tact, and enthusiasm to handle difficult residents while relating information concerning their conditions. Requires English language proficiency and state-tested certification. Minimum $20/hr to maximum $30/hr based on experience and schedule. Located in Randolph, MA with opportunities in long-term care, short-term rehab, skilled nursing, and sub-acute settings.
Required Qualifications
- Active nursing aide certification in the state of operation
- Certified or state tested Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of the state
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served
- Patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents
- Ability to relate information concerning a resident's condition
