Job Summary
Provide basic patient care under nursing direction, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, moving patients, and changing linens. Maintain active nursing aide certification in the state of operation and demonstrate knowledge of age-related resident needs. Support the team with patience, tact, and enthusiasm while handling difficult residents and relating resident condition information. Full-time, part-time, and per diem shifts available with a salary range of $20.00-$26.00 at CareOne at The Highlands.
Required Qualifications
- Active nursing aide certification in the state of operation
- Experience with patients of all ages in a SNF setting
- Certified or state tested Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of the state
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served
- Supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept
- Patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm
- Willingness to handle difficult residents
- Ability to relate information concerning a resident's condition
