Job Summary
Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, moving patients, and changing linens. Maintain active nursing aide certification in the state of operation and demonstrate knowledge of age-related resident needs. Support the team with patience, tact, and enthusiasm while relating information concerning resident conditions. Full-time, part-time, and per diem positions available in Holmdel, NJ, with a salary range of $20.00 to $26.00 per hour. Experience with patients of all ages in a skilled nursing facility setting is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Active nursing aide certification in the state of operation
- Experience with patients of all ages in a SNF setting
- Certified or state tested Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of the state
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served
- Patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm
- Willingness to handle difficult residents
- Ability to relate information concerning a resident's condition
