Job Summary
Provide basic patient care under nursing direction, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, moving, and changing linens for residents in a skilled nursing facility. Maintain active nursing aide certification in the state of operation and demonstrate knowledge of age-related care needs. Serve as a supportive team member with patience, tact, and enthusiasm to handle difficult situations while relating resident condition information to staff. Full-time, part-time, and per diem shifts available at CareOne Somerset Valley with a $1,000 sign-on bonus and hourly pay ranging from $20.00 to $26.00.
Required Qualifications
- Active nursing aide certification in the state of operation
- Certified or state tested Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of the state
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served
- Patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents
- Ability to relate information concerning a resident's condition

- Experience with patients of all ages in a SNF setting
