Certified Nursing Assistant - Cardiac Medical

Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a nurse in the Cardiac Medical unit. Performs duties such as greeting/orienting patients, contributing to a safe environment through proactive rounding, assisting with documentation in the EMR, monitoring telemetry/EKG, and coordinating with the care team to support patient goals. Requires critical thinking, ability to work in a high-stress environment, and adherence to organizational safety and compliance standards. Weekend work is required; shift is 6A-6P and 0.9 FTE. Must hold Kentucky SRNA certification upon hire and obtain BLS within 90 days. Supports Owensboro Health’s mission and core commitments.
