Job Summary
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse (RN or LPN), including observing and reporting vital signs, assisting with personal hygiene and meals, maintaining a safe and clean resident environment, completing documentation, and participating in infection control. Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care, support residents and families, and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Must have completed an accredited Nursing Assistant Program and hold an active WA CNA license; CPR/BCLS certification required; bilingual Spanish/English preferred. Ability to perform duties with flexibility and respond to changing resident needs; the role involves lifting up to 100 lbs and requires commitment to ongoing education and compliance with organizational standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Successfully completed an accredited Nursing Assistant Program
- Current CNA license in WA state
- CPR/BCLS certification
- Able to pass criminal background check and state abuse/fraud registry checks
- Proficiency in English (bilingual Spanish/English preferred)
- Annual TB test screening
- Annual influenza vaccine (or approved exemption)
