Job Summary
Assist participants in mobility exercises, transfers, and activities of daily living including toileting, feeding, showering, and incontinence care. Support individuals with walking, using mobility devices, and transportation logistics across center and home settings. Facilitate socialization and maintain an environment consistent with participant needs to ensure satisfaction and retention. Requires current Pennsylvania State Nurse Aide Certification, one year experience with frail or elderly, and dependable transportation. Shifts vary, typically running 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with every fourth weekend off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Current Pennsylvania State Nurse Aide Certification
- Must be listed on state nurse aide registry
- Must be without allegations
- At least one (1) year experience with a frail or elderly
- Dependable transportation
- Valid driver's license
