Job Summary
Direct patient care under supervision, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding; support mobility/transfer with assistive devices; measure and record vital signs; observe and report changes in patient condition; document patient information in charts/EHRs; prepare and clean medical equipment; maintain infection control and sanitary conditions; contribute to safe, high-quality care in a state-operated facility. Knowledge of patient hygiene, mobility assistance, nutrition support, PPE use, basic life support (BLS), and effective communication with nursing staff is required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Active Arkansas CNA certification
- Continuing education as mandated by state regulations
