Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant provides personal nursing care to patients under the direction of a licensed registered nurse (RN). Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, taking vital signs, helping patients with basic needs such as bathing and dressing, and performing clerical duties to keep the unit organized. Candidates must have a High School Education/GED, a Certified Nursing Assistant certification, and Basic Life Support certification.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) Health Care Provider certification
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Facility Specific License/Certifications: AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS
