Certified Nursing Assistant (.8)

Conduct patient care duties including bathing, skin care, hair care, nail care, transfers, assistance with ambulation, toileting, and self-administration of medications. Assist with assigned nursing duties such as simple dressing changes and indwelling catheter care under RN supervision. Perform prescribed exercises and notify the case manager or clinical supervisor of any deviations from the Activity Plan or changes in patient condition, including pain control, within one hour. Accurately complete clinical records related to assigned duties and observations within 48 hours of care provision. Work effectively as a member of the interdisciplinary team to contribute to the plan of treatment. This position holds a .8 status and reports to the Baldwin office.
