Job Summary
Support nursing and medical providers by assisting patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, hygiene, feeding, and dressing. Measure and record vital signs, intake and output, weight, and height, while promptly answering the call system and reporting changes in physical status or mood. Provide preventive skin care, incontinence care, nail trimming, and bed-making, ensuring patient rooms remain neat. Document all nursing care accurately and timely in clinical records, following written and verbal instructions while communicating tactfully with co-workers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time
- Must be able to move 150 pounds with assistance
Desired Qualifications
- Current CPR Healthcare Provider certification, preferred
