Job Summary
Provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals under supervision, assisting with personal hygiene and daily living needs, and monitoring vital signs. Perform duties on the Night shift (11p-7a) as a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant, adhering to CPR/BLS requirements and maintaining security clearances. Knowledge of medical paraprofessional certifications and ability to work within a correctional health setting are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required
- CNA licensure in Maryland required
- CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to obtain security clearance (drug screen and criminal background check)
- One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred
