Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct care to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse in a long-term care setting. Duties include assisting with personal hygiene and daily living activities (bathing, showers, bedpan/urinal care), feeding, mobility, vitals and weight checks, specimen collection, and maintaining resident records. Maintains a clean, safe environment and communicates observations to nursing staff. May perform additional tasks with specialized training and written approval; requires CPR within 90 days after hire and maintaining a Florida CNA license and background check compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing
- CPR certification within 90 days after hire
- State background check standards must be maintained as a condition of continued employment
