Certified Nursing Assistant 5C Medsurg Days

Communicate with the registered nurse and perform patient care tasks including vital signs, blood glucose testing, phlebotomy, and electrode placement. Provide basic services such as height and weight measurements, intake and output tracking, and room stocking. Maintain a clutter-free environment by removing linen and trash, while supporting patient communication through call light responses and discharge assistance. Promote safety via mobility assistance and rounds, and enhance comfort with meals, water, and bedding. Transport non-monitored patients and assist with monitored transports. Requires one year of recent CNA experience, high school diploma, and current CNA certification with BLS within 14 days of hire.
