Job Summary
Provide direct care to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, including personal hygiene, meals assistance, mobility support, vital signs checks, hydration, and maintaining a clean, safe environment; document resident information and communicate observations to nursing staff; perform routine tasks such as bedpan/urinal care, baths, showers, and post-mortem care as appropriate, with adherence to facility policies and procedures; requires teamwork, accurate record-keeping, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing
- CPR certification within 90 days after hire
- State background check standards
- Education: High school diploma or GED or equivalent
