Job Summary
Provide direct care to residents under a licensed nurse's supervision, including personal hygiene, bathing, feeding, and ambulation. Check vital signs, collect specimens, and perform post-mortem care while maintaining accurate daily resident records. Ensure resident safety through strict adherence to protocols and open communication with staff. Maintain a clean, orderly environment and assist in orienting new employees. Requires a Florida CNA license, CPR certification within 90 days, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent
- Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing
- CPR certification (attainable within 90 days after hire)
- State background check standards compliance
