Job Summary
Provide personal hygiene, meals, ambulation, and vital sign monitoring for oncology patients. Administer enemas, douches, surgical preps, and apply restraints while answering call lights promptly. Collect urine specimens, record intake and output, and report patient conditions to the assigned nurse. Maintain a safe environment, transport patients and equipment, and safeguard university assets. Work three 12-hour shifts including days, nights, and weekends. Requires a Certified Nursing Assistant license, high school diploma, and 0–1 year experience. Adhere to University policies and core values.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 0 - 1 year of relevant experience
- Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
- Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines
- Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary
- Proficiency in computer software (i.e. Microsoft Office)
