Job Summary
Provide personal hygiene, assist with meals and ambulation, administer treatments like enemas and surgical preps, and collect urine specimens. Answer call lights promptly, measure vital signs, and record food and liquid intake and output. Transport patients and equipment, report conditions to the assigned nurse, and ensure a safe environment while adhering to unit policies. Requires a Certified Nursing Assistant license, high school diploma, and ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends. Schedule includes 3 x 12-hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant license
- Minimum 0 -1 year of relevant experience
- Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary
- Commitment to the University's core values
- Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment
- Proficiency in computer software (i.e. Microsoft Office)
