Job Summary
Assist with unit and patient care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse in the Cardiac Telemetry Unit. Maintain full access to patient health information and manage medication storage areas excluding controlled substances. Provide direct support to patients undergoing cardiac treatment while adhering to a full-time schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, three days a week. This role requires current Basic Life Support certification and full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required through American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
- Listed with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing
- Full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
