Job Summary
Provide basic nursing care to patients in a Nursing Home setting under registered nurse supervision. Groom and bathe patients with low mobility, prepare rooms with necessary items, and assist with eating and medication administration. Monitor vitals and behavior, transfer patients between wheelchairs and beds, and adjust positions to prevent bedsores. Collect laboratory samples, educate patients and families on health conditions, and maintain patient records while reporting changes to supervising staff. Ensure proper medication dosages and regular meals are delivered. Maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Required Qualifications
- A valid CNA license in the state of employment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
