Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant provides personal care and assistance with activities of daily living to residents in a long-term care setting under supervision, documents care in resident records, reviews and follows care plans with RNs/LPNs, demonstrates competency in psychomotor skills, adheres to safety and infection control, communicates effectively with the health care team, and participates in unit development and quality activities. Must be certified or registered as a Nursing Assistant or have approved CNA training documentation; shift is full-time nights.
Required Qualifications
- Must be certified, or registered by the Illinois Department of Registration as a Nursing Assistant or have documentation of successful completion of a training course approved by another state as evidenced by a diploma or certification; be in a RN/LPN approved course, or have the potential to complete the approved orientation course and enter a CNA training course within 180 days of hire.
