Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant role within ResCare Community Living (Sevita) providing hands-on nursing care with emphasis on daily living, personal hygiene, and quality of life for residents. Responsibilities include monitoring health conditions, assisting with daily living activities, ensuring safety and documentation, participating in care teams, preparing rooms and meals, assisting with admissions and discharges, and supporting resident programs and outings. Requires a High School diploma or GED, CNA certification, BLS/CPR/First Aid, and effective communication; one year of CNA experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Completion of CNA certification program
- Current CNA certification issued by state relevant to the position
- One year CNA experience preferred, ideally experience with medically complex patients
- Current in Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, and First Aid certifications
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, residents, and families
