Job Summary
Provide high-quality personal care to residents in a senior-living facility, including bathing, dressing, grooming, incontinent care, and assisting with meals. Monitor and document vital signs and weight; complete shift assignments; respond to call lights and emergencies; communicate with residents, families, and Department Heads as needed; provide planned activities. Requires state-approved geriatric nursing assistant training and state registry. Part-time shifts available (e.g., Sundays and weekends). Location: Plymouth, MN. Competitive pay $22.50/hour DOE. Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a State approved geriatric nursing assistant training program
- Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred
- Registration with State registry required
- Ability to understand instructions in English, communicate effectively, perform simple arithmetic, document care
- Open minded and flexible in meeting residents' needs
- Desire to learn about residents by observing behavior and listening
- Desire to have a voice in care and concerns of residents
- Desire to be a good team member and show respect to other team members
- 2-3 years of long-term care, transitional care and memory care experience preferred
- All new hires must pass preemployment screening (criminal background check, drug test, tuberculosis skin test, employment references)
