Job Summary
Provides direct nursing care to residents and delegates and supervises the care provided by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants. Responsibilities include assisting residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising; giving treatments and performing procedures; reporting observations; transporting and escorting residents; promptly responding to signals; and maintaining clean, orderly rooms. Requires successful completion of an Illinois State approved nursing assistant training program and registration with the Illinois State registry. Day shift, 12-hour shifts, with a $1.50 per hour shift differential after 3 PM; benefits package available.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an Illinois State approved nursing assistant training program.
- Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred.
- Registration with Illinois State registry required.
