Job Summary
Certified Nurse Practitioner provides integrated medical and psychiatric care within residential and outpatient substance use disorder and mental health services. Conducts comprehensive medical and psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses and treats mental health and substance use disorders, prescribes and manages medications including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) such as buprenorphine and naltrexone, monitors side effects and withdrawal, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and adherence to HIPAA and licensing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Ohio
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Prescriptive authority and DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, primary care, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and integrated care models
