Certified Nurse Midwife, Women's Health, Part-Time - Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center

Conduct complete history and physical examinations for new patients admitted to the labor room, writing admission notes with attending physician approval when appropriate. Monitor labor progress for all patients in the delivery suite in collaboration with attending physicians and nursing staff, participating directly in deliveries. Initiate routine, physician countersigned orders in the labor and delivery suite and on the postpartum floor, while making daily rounds on routine postpartum floors independently or with the attending physician. Evaluate progress and manage labor and delivery, providing immediate care for normal newborns and assisting mothers in caring for themselves and their infants. Review protocols, policies, and procedures as assigned.
