CERTIFIED NURSE MIDWIFE

Job Summary
Provide primary health care management for well women across the reproductive cycle within nurse-midwifery guidelines; manage normal pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum with teaching, counseling, and family support; consult with obstetrician/medical consultants for non-guidelines cases; participate in in-service education, peer review, QA, and utilization review; maintain EMR documentation; collaborate with nursing, referrals, and operations to ensure timely care; support Women’s Health access and quality initiatives; maintain CPR and NRP certifications; bilingual English/Spanish abilities; capable of telemedicine/telehealth as appropriate; extended hours and flexible scheduling may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university
- Must be a registered nurse in the State of Texas
- Must be Board approved to practice as an advanced practice nurse
- Experience in working with the public
- Must be current with CPR
- N95 mask fit testing and annual test fitting
