Job Summary
Diagnose and treat conditions affecting women during and after pregnancy while explaining the childbirth process to pregnant patients. Provide maternity care services in the hospital setting, improve patient outcomes, and deliver quality care within assigned practice areas. Participate in the obstetrical call pool and follow up with patients regarding lab results or medical concerns. Offer patient and family-centered, holistic care addressing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health while maintaining electronic medical records efficiently. Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical and program teams at Jericho Road Community Health Center to uphold organizational values and ensure compliance with state, local, and FQHC regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Certified nurse midwife (CNM)
- RN, Masters or Nurse Doctorate (ND) Certification by American Nurses Credentialing Counsel (ANCC), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, or equivalent certifying body
- Demonstrated ability to develop collaborative working relationships
- Excellent patient-centered skills and clinical capabilities
- Maintain current certifications including all mandatory annual and CPR training
- Ability to adhere to professional code of ethics, and compliance to Article 28 and FQHC requirements
- Ensure all actions, personal conduct, and communications always represent the organization in a highly professional manner
- Uphold and ensure compliance to all policies/procedures, mission, and organizational values in a highly professional manner always
