Job Summary
Provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care, manage low- to moderate-risk pregnancies, and conduct routine gynecological exams and screenings. Perform physical exams, order diagnostic tests, and develop care plans while prescribing medications within scope. Collaborate with OB/GYNs and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate referrals and manage high-risk cases, ensuring seamless patient care. Educate patients on pregnancy, childbirth, and newborn recovery, and maintain accurate documentation in EMR/EHR systems. This role is ideal for both experienced midwives and new graduates joining a large multispecialty group with 140+ physicians serving diverse communities across the Bronx.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Midwifery program
- Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) certification through AMCB
- Active or eligible for New York State licensure
